We adoptees have had our very identities erased since the moment we were surrendered. We have grown up expected to be someone we are not, and as adults we are now reclaiming our identities for ourselves.

 

In this FREE weekly drop-in session that requires no writing experience and no commitment, we will introduce ourselves briefly, write to two prompts, and share. No pressure to keep your camera on if you're not up to it.

 

This is not a writing workshop. We are writing from the heart. We don't listen to our inner critic, and there is no feedback from anyone other than "thank you for sharing," Zoom hearts, applause, and finger snaps. We are here to  listen to each other and be together--in community.
